FN commercial Mauser sporting rifle in .300 Savage with 24" Chrome Vanadium Steel stepped barrel with ramp front sight and integral island rear sight base. Excellent bore. Rear sight insert is a replacement that has not been filed in or blued. One standing and one folding leaf. Front and rear reciever rings factory drilled and tapped. This is an early model with a single C-cut front reciever ring. Cross-bolted pistol grip stock with Bakelite pistol grip cap. 14" LOP to a factory horn buttplate with FN logo. 8lb 5oz Original blue at 98%. Original stock finish at 96% and original checkering at 98%. A rare caliber in this model with the single broached front reciever ring seen on the first 6,000 or so produced. Very hard to find and in all original condition except rear sight insert.
