Colt Model 1878 .45 Colt caliber revolver. Double action, .45 Colt, 7 ½” barrel length. Made in 1881. Excellent bore. Action works perfectly. Gun has approximately 75-80% bright blue with the rest of the finish being an even brown patina that looks really good with the blue. Gun has factory checkered grips that are near excellent with original varnish and excellent checkering. Numbers match except grips but the grips look and fit the gun perfectly. This is a really eye-catching, with fine blue, beautiful factory grips, excellent bore and 7 ½” barrel.
