Description:
This is a Model 1889 made by Remington Arms Co chambered for 12 gauge shells. The 32” barrels are in acceptable condition with a few tiny dings and an even finish. The bore is smooth but has pitting towards the breech. The right choke is full and the left choke is modified. The receiver is developing a patina but is not scratched or pitted. The hammers and lever are checkered and all screws are in good working condition. The walnut forend and pistol grip buttstock are also in good condition. There are a few scattered dings but few disturb the finish. There is also a repaired crack near the toe of the stock. There is checkering at the wrist and forend and it is fitted with a German silver nose cap and aluminum buttplate. Length of pull is 14”, overall length is 49”, and weight is 9.6 lbs.
