This is one of the finest examples of this little 1st Issue Stevens .22 pistol we have ever had to sell. Manufactured around 1890, it is pristine and 100% original. The gun shows almost no wear and retains 99% of its bright blue and nickel plating, and the varnish on the wood grips is near perfect. It is mechanically sound and the bore is excellent. One issue, the rear sight is missing the elevation screw and the rear sight has been ground down. If this gun were mine, I would hunt down a mint rear sight for it.
