Very nice original 1st Generation Colt Single Action Army fitted with a 7 1/2 inch barrel, color case-hardened finished frame and hammer, blue finished barrel, cylinder, back-strap and trigger guard, ejector rod housing and small parts, checkered hard rubber grips, and chambered in .45 Long Colt. The frame retains 30% of its original color case-hardened finsh, with most in the hidden areas. The hammer retains very light traces of its original finish, mostly turning silver. The barrel, cylinder, ejector rod housing, trigger guard and back-strap retain 80% of their original blue finish. The bore is bright, with sharp rifling, and the action is smooth and functions like new. The grips fit well, look good, and do not have any chips or cracks. This 1929 vintage Colt SAA is all number matching, including the grips. Would make a fantastic shooter or collectable.
