Description:
This very nice custom rifle was crafted by Jim Coffin of Albany, Oregon with metal work by Larry Brace of Eugene, Oregon. Both craftsmen were members of the American Custom Gunmakers Guild. All work is of the highest order. Barrel length is 24 inches. It is fitted with a Blackburn style straddle, hinged floorplate. Safety is a 2 position, bolt shroud mounted style. Sling swivels are inletted type. The stock has a crossbolt for reinforcement with ebony wood plugs. Scope bases/rings are Talley. The stock is very nice english walnut with good color and grain layout. The 3X9 scope is a Cabela's Instinct, top of the line scope by Meopta with duplex crosshairs. I would rate the rifle condition at 97% metal and 99% wood. There is a small amount of blue wear on the front edges of the floorplate. This is a golden opportunity to own a full blown custom hunting rifle at factory rifle cost. A perfect Elk hunting rifle for a hunt of a lifetime.
