Russian SKS Tula Arsenal, Dated 1951, Ser.?C959, Cal. 7.62 x 39.
Here’s one of the most reliable semi automatic military rifles every conceived. This one is a milled receiver Russian Tula Arsenal gun, which are highly sought after compared to its Chinese cousins.
All the important numbers match, the receiver, bolt and trigger assembly. The magazine is electro penciled to the gun.
The gun has had very little, if any, use since it was bought over 40 years ago. The import finish is about 99%. It has no pits, rust or flaking anywhere. There is one very small rub mark on the rear of the bolt.
That condition is almost the same for the stock. There are a couple of very slight surface scratches and a few very tiny dings. Nothing that detracts from the military look of the weapon. The bolt, slide rails, bolt face, magazine show very little wear, probably from just working the action.
The bore is mirror bright with possibly a hint of scattered frost. This firearm is dynamite on the range and will definitely turn heads. Why settle for a common AR when you can fire a piece of history?
