Harrington & Richardson 1873 model 45-70 gov't caliber carbine, made to commemorate the battle of the "Little Big Horn". It's the Springfield 1873 Carbine reproduced in the 1970's with Engraving on the action, trigger guard barrel band etc. It has all of the Engraved parts Color Case hardened with vivid colors and a high gloss finish, the butt plate too. Some of the engraved parts are blued like the barrel band. The wood is select walnut, a nice grain and color. The barrel is high polished blued and the gun has the Officer model long range rear sight. All of this is in new condition without the box or papers. This is the Us 1873,#L.8 H. 2180
