Description:
This is a post 64 Winchester Model 70 chambered for 375 H&H. The 24” blued barrel is in good condition having a few scratches near the muzzle. The front sight is a fixed bead in a ramped dovetail and the rear sight has been removed. The bore is in good condition as well and has clean sharp rifling. The blued receiver has no scratches or corrosion and has rails for scope mounts. A 3-9x40mm scope with clear glass is mounted to the receiver. There is light finish wear on the bolt knob but the bolt is undamaged. The walnut stock is on good condition. It is fitted with sling swivel studs, a 1” white line spaced Winchester butt pad, white line spaced ebony nose cap, and white line spaced ebony grip cap. There is checkering at the wrist and forend and a couple light scrapes on the left side. Length of pull is 13-½”, overall length is 45”, and weight is 9.8 lbs. Our stock number is #A498.
