Description:
This 1885 has all the bells and whistles! 28" oct #3 bbl in cal 32-40. Makes for a very good combination for a target rifle. The oct bbl has no provisions for open sights. Mounted on the orig Winchester blocks is vintage J. Unertle mounts and scope. The buttstock and buttplate are the classical Schuetzen style. This gun also has double set triggers and a palm rest. The overall condition of the gun is VG with nearly all bbl blue remaining. Light wear to the octagons. Hardly any wear at the muzzle. Receiver has about 80% blue on the right and 90%+ on the left. Some aging on the receiver bridge. Still case colors remaining on the lever. It is a very special Winchester that was well taken care of. The inside has 95%+ condition bore! This an awesome target rifle!
