Savage model 99R in 250-3000 Savage.Built in 1954,this rifle is in new condition retaining 100% of the original blue,100% of the original wood finish,and 100% of the lever case colors.According to the original owner,it was fired 4 rounds to insure function,and then put up in a safe.The 24" barrel has a mint bore.The steel buttplate still retains 100% of the blue.The receiver was factory drilled for a tang sight,but no sight has ever been installed.I hate to use the term "perfect",but this is as close as I have ever seen on a 63 year old rifle.A great caliber and super condition.Look at the photos and call if you have questions.This one will not last long.C&R eligible.
