This is a World War II U.S. Army issued 1911 Remington .45 ACP for sale. It was issued to my father, Lieutenant Grant Bull, when he joined the U.S. Army during World War II. He served in the Pacific Theatre during the war.

It has been in my possession in storage since he passed away and has been shot two times in the last 20 years. Before that, it was stored by my father and was rarely used.

During the war, to my knowledge, it was lightly used. My father was an instructor during the early years of the war at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, and then went to the Pacific Theater. He was part of the occupation forces in the Philippines after it was re-taken by the allied forces. He did not see any direct combat. It is basically in the same condition as it was when he exited the Army at the end of the war. It has not been refurbished or re-conditioned, but only stored.

Also included is his original leather Army holster, which is pictured. This was the holster that the 45 was issued with the gun when he received it during the war. The brass grommets on the holster have some green oxidation on them. These can be cleaned, but I have not done so because I have chosen to leave the gun and holster in their original condition.
