(NOW PENDING SALE) Custom Dakota Model 76 Action .22-250 Rem. Single Shot Bull Barrel Bolt Action Rifle With Leupold VX-3 6.5-20x50mm Scope
Beautiful Custom Built Bolt Action Rifle built on a Dakota Model 76 in .22-250 Remington caliber. This rifle was manufactured in 1989 during the Don Allen era and it is a single shot bolt action configuration. I contacted Dakota and they stated that it was most likely a build by one of the gunmaker’s working for Dakota at the time. This is the response from Dakota about the origins: “Serial Number S76V**** was sold as a receiver only. This serial number was for "employees and family only".” This rifle is in excellent to mint overall condition. The blonde walnut stock has a gorgeous grain to it. There are sling swivel studs on the stock with a black Dakota brand butt-pad and Dakota brand pistolgrip cap. The bluing is excellent throughout. The bore is bright and excellent with sharp grooves and lands. The rifle features a heavy bull barrel, 3 position wing safety, awesome pivoting scope mounts/ rings, and a like new USA made Leupold VX-3 6.5-20x50mm long range scope. The barrel length is 24”. The LOP is 13 1/2”. The overall length is 43 3/4”. Wood components are 99%+ overall. Metal components are 99%+ overall. This rifle is basically new. It is the ultimate long range or varmint rifle. $3250 With Scope or $2750 Without Scope (I will include the scope mounts and rings either way).
