We believe that the Model 52 Sporter is one of the finest and most accurate of all Winchester rifles. Many rifle competions have been won over the years with one form or another of the venerable 52. This one was manufactured in 1955, and at that time a rimfire shooter could not purchase a better .22 Sporter (or a more expensive one). This rifle is in excellent original condition and has never had any holes drilled for scope mounts or any other sight modifications. The blue is 98% and the bore is mint. It even comes with the original factory sling swivels. The Winchester Repeating Arms Co. was America's finest rifle manufacturer, and this was their flagship .22 rifle.
