FN Mauser pre war sporting rifle in 8mm Mauser (8x57).This rifle has all of the features of the classic European sporters.It has a butterknife bolt handle,a European cheekpiece, a claw mounted 4x scope,one standing one folding express sights,and a horm buttplate.The bore is in mint condition and is free of any rust or pitting.The trigger is a single stage trigger that breaks clean at 3 lbs.The scope is bright and clear with a single post reticle.I do not know the maker of the scope as it is not marked.This rifle would make a fine all around big game rifle.A classic European design at a reasonable price.C&R eligible.
