This is a beautiful example of an early large frame Hopkins & Allen marked Merwin & Hulbert. It features a long 7-inch round barrel. The front sight is an integral blade and the rear is an integral V notch. The overall condition is excellent. The nickel surfaces are beginning to show losses as the nickel thins and there's a dent on the front sight, but nevertheless this is still an unfired gun. All serial numbers match. The rare red mottled grips are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips.The bore is in excellent unfired condition. The action is strong. Serial number 1120
