Description:
Baker Gun Company Paragon grade 12 gauge.Built in 1896,this gun has 28" fine damacus barrels choked full (.030") and full (.030").The barrels are the finest I have ever seen, with mint bores and an average wall thickness of .035".The gun is in outstanding all original condition,retaining a minimum of 50% of the original case colors,98% of the damacus finis,and 98% of the original wood finish.The barrels lock up tight with no play.The wood is very sound with no cracks of damage.The engraving is very detailed and features pointers on the right lock,setters on the left lock,a single quail on the bottom of the receiver,and a single duck on the trigger quard.The stock has 141/8" LOP over the original Baker buttplate.A classic 121 year old  gun in collector condition that is still ready for the field or range.Classified as an antique so it can be shipped direct.
