Description:
SOLD...Antique Remington double Derringer. A very nice Remington Derringer. .41 rim fire. S/N 697 and matching on barrel and frame. Vert tight hinge with NO cracks or repairs. Locks up tight like new. Rotating firing pin works excellent. Excellent mechanics throughout. Over all nickel finish looks original and is about 95% plus condition. Excellent markings. Left grip has a small chip out at the bottom see photo. Could be repaired or after market grips are avaliable for about $35 and they fit very well.. Or just leave it as it is.. I have this one priced with this in mind and if the grips were perfect I would have this priced at about $850. No pitting or dings but some flaking at the muzzle see photo and a little on the right side of the barrel see photo. The bores show rifling but with normal roughness as most all these will show. Would still hit your target from across a card table!!!! Screws are all very nice and not all burred up. Just a very nice looking little gun with most all the finish at a reasonable price. Not much else to say about this one but call 765-728-8049 with any questions or more photos. $15 insured shipping. Nice gun for the money. NO FFL needed.
