Description:
The Winchester Model 50 automatic shotgun was produced in limited quantities
in the 1950’s. In its standard, all steel model, it remains the very best quality
automatic shotgun in the industry, smooth functioning and practically indestructible. Simple to take down and reassemble, all parts are machine
milled, not stamped, and many parts, especially barrels of the same gauge,
are interchangeable. I have seen them emerge from behind the seat of more
than one truck on opening day where they have remained since the last
season, uncleaned, and go right into action. I have never heard of one being
worn out.
Here is the very best grade Model 50 they made. The trap gun action features
a deflector which throws the empty case directly to the shooter’s side. The
quality of figure in both butt stock and forend on this gun are obvious. This
gun is offered together with an accompanying 26 inch , ventilated rib barrel
in WS 1, the highly regarded Winchester jug choke skeet. The trap barrel is
30 inch full choke. The LOP is 14 ½” over the pad. $1350. OBO
