Available for purchase is this absolutely gorgeous very early Remington 721 rifle chambered in .270 Win. It has a beautiful piece of old growth walnut that is in fantastic condition. The date code is EUU. which translates to October of 1949. The bore is strong, bright and excellent. Trigger pull is short and crisp. Safety works fine, I believe the blue is original. It has a metal checkered Remington buttplate. The scope is mounted in Weaver tip offs, is unmarked and has a tapered post and crosshair reticle. Likely a basic 4x. Handling wear and patina on the floorplate, otherwise this has likely not been used in many years and was stored properly. Simply a gorgeous rifle for the classic rifle hunter. $35 shipping to the lower 48 and 3% surcharge for using a CC.
