Description:
Heym model 55 over/under combination gun set up as a double-caliber-rifle or Bergstutzen as known in Germany. First this is a like new Model 55 in 16 ga over .308 Winchester combination or Bochbuschflinte. That’s right “.308 or 7.62x51 NATO”. Very unusual caliber for a combo but an asset in finding lower price ammo or ammo to go along with your other survival guns. The cool thing is this now has a full length .22 Hornet barrel insert that has been fitted to the gun years ago. It has full point-of-impact adjustment screws at the muzzle end. If you decide you would rather have the combo just open the breech and tap the muzzle end with a wood dowel then it slides right out. Those Germans are sure innovative. In addition the rib has the superior 4-claw claw mounts for easy removal of the scope when walking or jump-shooting. When you are sitting just snap it back in place and it will return to zero. A really great set-up for coyote hunting at various ranges and even turkey hunting in some states. The right front trigger is also an adjustable push-to-set set-trigger for the .308 barrel.  The wood is satin finish with white line spacers at the grip and buttplate with a right-hand shadow cheekpiece. This combination gun alone sells for about $7,000, add $1,000 for the .22 Hornet barrel insert and fitting, another $1,000 for claw mounts and then about $1,000 for a Zeiss 6x42 scope. This is truly all you’ll ever need as a survival weapon. It has skip-line checkering on the wood, sling swivels, low-profile fixed rear sight, matted solid rib, game scene engraving on the receiver, ornamental engraving on the claw mounts. Just a really nice setup. I'm currently shipping a combo from Germany for myself to use and you just can't believe how much it costs which have now exceeded $1000. So this gun is already here and no import fees necessary. If you don't understand how the insert barrels work use this link to view the manufacturers site in Germany - they have a great description with pictures in English  " ://keppeler-te.de/pages/produkte-products/jagd-hunting/einstecklaeufe-insert-barrels.php "  No shipping charges in US - shipping by usps only - payment by usps money orders only - 3-day inspection allowed if returned in same condition - if returned buyer pays shipping both ways - please feel free to ask any questions you like but do so before buying or - I am interested in a few items for trade such as Colt Python's, S&W Model 19's or 66's (must be NIB, P&R, 3T) or maybe a Valmet 76 in 7.62x39.Thanks for looking.
