Very early WWII production Winchester Model 1897 Trench gun with all the early and correct items. Six row hand guard, No Cross Cannon Cartouche, WB and small Cross Cannon Cartouche on stock. The serial number of this example is 9361XX placing date of manufacture in early 1942. This Trench gun has the correct 1917 Bayonet included and 1917 Sling. The action is tight, smooth and mechanically perfect. The bore shows use, bright and shiny from breech to muzzle and will rate a 9 on a 1 to 10 scale.
