Winchester 1892 Sporting Rifle .32/20 wcf. The serial number of this example is 985X placing date of manufacture in 1892 a First year Production Rifle. Overall condition of this rifle is good to very good. The original factory finish has toned to a very nice even plum / blue patina. The bore is above average for a small caliber Winchester. The rifling is strong with the scattered pitting, shiny from breech to muzzle. The action is tight, smooth and mechanically perfect. very nice first year gun.
