Description:
30” Nitro steel barrels with 2 ¾” chambers, choked .038 right and .024 left. Full length concave matte rib with dual white beads and a gold line 2” in front of breech. Right barrel is marked L.C. SMITH CROWN GRADE and the left is marked MADE TO ORDER BY THE HUNTER ARMS CO. FULTON, N.Y. The barrels have been refinished and retain 98% bluing. Bores are bright and shiny. Hunting dog scenes are engraved on both side plates with floral and scroll patterns. The receiver and trigger guard are engraved with a floral and scroll pattern. A gold crown is inlaid on the top lever. The receiver retains 20% case color while the sideplates and forend iron retain little case color. The trigger retains 70% original bluing. Dual triggers with the front trigger firing the left barrel, automatic safety and ejectors. The pistol grip stock is two point checkered and wraps over the grip and around the round knob pistol grip. It has been refinished and has a few light handling marks. The forearm is three point checkered and has also been refinished. Length of pull is 14 1/2” over a red recoil pad. Drop at comb: 1 5/8”, Drop at heel: 2 3/4”. Weight: 8.2 lbs. Mechanics are good.
