Description:
This Civil War sword was collected in the nineteen sixty's so this is in amazing shape. The blade has a hugh ornate frosty U.S. on one side and an e.plusibus, unium on the other. The blade is frosty from one end to the other, no blemishes. The basket has the large eagle, and the grip has shark skin with double twisted wire, in mint condition. There are two iron proof marks one in the blade one etched on the back of the blade edge. The scabbard is in good shape with double hangers. This sword was produced in SOLINGEN ,Germany to export for the American Civil War. Exceedingly hard to find in this shape.859-533-5445.
