Smith & Wesson 38/44 Heavy Duty Revolver; SN S90089; this revolver was part of a 10 gun shipment of New Braunfels Police Revolvers shipped to Padgett Brothers, Dallas, Texas, on October 2, 1952; all ten had back straps marked “City Property of New Braunfels, Texas”; the revolvers were shipped to Smith & Wesson for refurbishing before being sold as surplus; boxes & grips were mismatched prior to sales to public; this gun LOOKS NEW; copy of Factory letter, period New Braunfels Police Badge, correct style box and period photo of Police Dept.; ALL CORRECT as boxes & grips furnished by S&W during refurbishment; FFL/C&R required for shipping;All items shipped fully insured Priority Mail- -Hand guns $30 --Long guns $45-- Spurs $30-- Knives, Swords & Sabers $30 (Texas residents please add 6.75% sales tax); return policy: three days inspection from the date the item is received; full refund of shipping both ways ONLY IF THE ITEM IS MISREPRESENTED.
