Description:
A very nice pre war 16 gauge boxlock by herman Eichorn and Son of Rostov,Germany.This gun has 30" Krupp steel barrels choked modified (.022") and full (.036").The receiver is fully engraved with detailed game scenes surrounded by scroll.The gun has double triggers,a pistol grip stock,and extractors.Other quality features include intercepting sears, cocking indicators,a Greener crossbolt lockup,sling swivels,and a Eiropean cheekpiece.Also included is a set of Briley 30" insert tubes that allow you to shoot 28 gauge as well as 16ga.The Briley tubes have screw in chokes.The gun weighs 6-2 without the tubes and 6-6 with them installed.The bores are bright and free of any rust,dents,or pits.This is a great all around upland bird gun that offers a lot of quality for the price.C&R eligible.
