Description:
Yugoslavian M24/47 Mauser rifle chambered in 8mm Mauser. These were refurbishments of Yugoslavia’s 1924 Mausers to rearm after WWII. This was done from 1947 to about 1952. As most of Yugoslavia’s weapons manufacturing equipment was taken by Germany these rifles had to be assembled with whatever was on hand. So many have parts and stocks from other types of Mausers. As more modern arms, like the M48 Mauser and M59 SKS, became available these were relegated to second line use and most were stored away. In the 1990’s many of these were taken out of storage and many were used by partisans in the civil wars that ripped Yugoslavia apart. Many of the rifles will still have some cosmoline inside.Firearms are subject to pending sales. • Replies to emails may take 24-72 hours to respond to (excluding weekends). • Although we strive for accuracy, we are not responsible for pictorial, editorial or typographical errors.
