This Remington barrel date is September of 1931. The rifle's serial number is 827047. The sights are original to this rifle. The bore is bright with little wear. The take down feature is tight with no abuse. The action works smoothly with no issues. This 22 shows very little shooting. The slide shows little wear or rubbing. The barrel flats have no dents or flattening. The factory bluing would rate a 97% overall condition. The wood has no cracks or damage. THe stock may have a extra coat of varnish added. This 22 will shoot the Short, Long or Long Rifle cartridge. This is a very nice condition 22 rifle that has been well cared for. This model Remington is very collectable and is fun to shoot today!
