Description:
Made in 1968 and in 99% condition. This was the first derringer model made by this company. It was made in tn the collector preferred (because of high quality standards and workmanship) Hamden, Connecticut Factory. The metal is blued and the trigger is blued and looks like it was also heat treated. The cream or ivory plastic grips are called "White Grips". The maroon colored metal factory box with a Hi Standard label inside is in about 60 to 70% condition. This is an over/under 2 shot pistol in .22 magnum caliber.There are very basic sights front and rear as this pistol was not intended for long distance shooting..The barrel length measures 3 & 1/4" (reference books call it 3 & 1/2") . A well made little pocket pistol. It was also made in .22 caliber. The .22 Magnum caliber of course gives it a little more power and presumeable stopping ability.
A nice pistol to carry or to just round off a High Standard collection.
