Description:
This Colt New Service Revolver was manufactured during the Great Depression, likely around 1932 – 1933. The Colt Co. was never wasteful and utilized every miscellaneous overrun part that could be found. Surplus M1917 frames were mounted with Pre-War un-tapered barrels. These are identifiable by not having the newest Pat. date 1926, but marked with the older 1905 date. Other early features such as Flat Latches, Smooth Triggers and Hard Rubber grips were pulled from obsolete inventory to be “used up”. About 1000 were built and were very profitable for Colt. This gun remains in original Exc. condition, most likely unfired with no corrosion of any kind. Excluding the barrel, it is in 97% - 98% condition with some minor handling marks and very lightly frosted back strap. The barrel is the older style with a 1905 Pat. date and finished in the early Bright Blus Colt finish. It has many small non-objectionable handling marks. It was obviously stored by Colt in finished blue condition until it was cut down and mounted to this gun. This is a very interesting rare Colt New Service Revolver variation that would be a great addition to a Colt Collection. .38 Cal. with a 4 ½” barrel. Serial Number 336563. FFL Required.

SHIPPING:
Normally shipments are made via U.S.P.S. Priority Mail, Insured, with a return receipt. Typical Packing, Shipping and Insurance cost for a handgun is $30.00, and for a Long Gun is $45.00.

FIREARMS:
Modern firearms, post 1898, can only be shipped to a Type 01 Federal Firearms License address. Curio-Relic firearms, as defined by the BATF list, can usually be shipped to a Type 03 Collectors License address. Some states have additional restrictions such as CA, CT, DC, IL, NJ and NY.
A signed valid FFL license copy either mailed or emailed will be required for shipment to only the license address.
Antique firearms, pre 1898 do not require a Federal License. For purchase, a copy of a Government Issued Identification (Driver’s License, Etc.), showing date of birth and current address will be required.
GUARANTEE:

Please don’t fire the weapon, safety, function and accuracy are NOT Guaranteed. Any weapon offered by Beaver Creek Arms is never test fired nor is there any representation the gun is functional and safe to fire. These guns are sold for collectors and only represented as used firearms that must be checked by a competent person, observe all the necessary safety precautions prior to attempting to load and fire one of these weapons
RETURNS:
Returns must be made within 3 days of receipt. They must be received in exactly the same condition with no parts exchanged. If it has been altered, damaged, or fired, a refund will not be made. Packing, shipping and insurance cost will not be refunded. All layaway purchases are returnable for merchandise credit only.
Sales:
All sales are made with the buyer’s full acceptance of the stated terms of sale. All sales are made in strict compliance with all Federal Firearms Laws. No items contained in thissite are offered for sale where prohibited by any Federal, State or Local laws. By ordering, the buyer certifies that their purchase will be in full compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws. All transactions shall be deemed to occur in Pennsylvania regardless whether by telephone, mail, internet or the physical location of the buyer. All transactions will be subject only to Federal and Pennsylvania State law. Any disputes will be resolved in a Pennsylvania Court.
PAYMENT:
Bank check, Personal check, and Money Orders are preferred. Visa and MasterCard are accepted with a 3% processing fee. For Visa and MasterCard orders please provide the account number, code number, expiration date, name on card, phone number and card billing address. This information can be phoned in, or E-Mailed. All orders must be paid in advance, C.O.D. orders are not accepted. Checks, both Bank and Personal must clear before the order will be shipped, usually a 2 week delay.
LAYAWAYS:
A 20% deposit is required. Balance is due in 60 days. Deposits are non-refundable and are forfeited after 60 days. Layaway sales are returnable for merchandise credit only.
SALES TAX:
Pennsylvania state sales tax is 6% for in state purchases. The payment of other states sales tax, if applicable, for shipped items is the buyer’s responsibility.
