This rifle is beautiful. I have never seen one as nice as this ..The bore is somewhat dark- probably needs a good cleaning. There is lots of rifling left. The wood is very nice. The end of the stock has been very professionally repaired. Their is a small chip in a corner of the hard rubber butt. . It is not 100% but it surely is in 90 to 95% condition. Keepi in mind it is 113 years old. If you would like one of these for your Colt collection, I don't think you will find a nicer one. It was made in 1904. 90,000 were made between 1887 and 1904. It is a .22 caliber, short or long, single shot pump action. The octogon barrel is 24 & 1/4 '' long. I have been told by collctors that octogon barrels are scarce. The patent dates, Colt name and .22 cal. are all sharp on the barrel. The hammer is exposed and there are open sights. A zip up carry case will be included.
