SCARCE MODEL 1902 MILITARY AUTO PISTOL, .38ACP CALIBER, MADE 1916, These are becoming very hard to find as most seem to have ended up in collections where the owners aren't letting go of them! Nice representative example with clear markings including the 1897 and 1902 patent dates along with the Colt address etc., exc. hard rubber Colt embossed grips, lanyard swivel intact (these often missing), original unaltered sights, original two-tone magazine marked on the bottom "MIL COLT 38 CAL," overall mostly an uncleaned naturally aged gray/brown with good blue in the protected areas and some fire blue left on the trigger sides and slide release, not abused or buffed or steel wooled, tight action and fairly bright bore, this one came out of right here in Montana.
