DWM Model 1914 Commercial Luger. SN: 724xx. Cal: 9mm Luger; Hard to find commercial variation of the infamous Luger pistol with approximately only 2000 of this model made. Often referred to as the Model 1914 as these pistols share the same attributes as the 1914 model military pistols (9mm calibre and lug for stock on rear grip bottom). 4" blued barrel w/ "crown/N" proof on left chamber area and "crown/N" proof & serial number on barrel bottom just forward of frame. Blued frame with matching serial number last two-digit on all small parts. Top toggle script logo marked "DWM". Checkered wood grips. Correct wood-bottom clip (no markings)
Condition: Gun is in beautiful overall condition, as partially professionally refinished with most all of quality re-blue remaining throughout. Bore is clear with good rifling. Straw color on small parts appearent but light. Wood grips remain in very nice condition with checkering generally crisp. Mechanics all function fine.
