Description:
Gastinne Renette 12ga 70mm, ejector ,canon plume , made in Saint Etienne by Damon in the 60s for the prestigious parisian maker and dealer Gastine Renette , same art deco fonts than used by Damon . Patented by Boniface Petrik in 1920 the system have been picked up by Dupont Remington then Krieghoff . Valmet kept the no-hinge-pin system on its double rifles . When Damon closed , Jolivet picked up the production . In 2004 Darne added the production of the Petrik as the Darne O/U . Because it is a so good and strong design . It is rare to see a Damon Petrik that nice , nice filing of the receiver , art-nouveau ivy engraving and nice wood . Very clean .
NB stock have a hard to see crack on the left grip , fixed , due to stock bending to the right .
