Description:
For sale, an antique H&R revolver called "The American Double Action" chambered for the .38 S&W cartridge. This small revolver was an inexpensive pistol designed and manufactured by the Harrington and Richardson company that was quite popular for carry as a self defense revolver. This example has some of the original nickel plating remaining and the original factory grips. The top strap is stamped "The American Double Action". The barrel is tamped with the H&R name and address and below that the caliber designation. This antique revolver still has a functioning action but has play in the cylinder at full lock up, and is sold as a collector/decorator piece only. A nice inexpensive example of this type.
