For sale, a beautiful Savage Model 1907 pistol chambered in .32 ACP. This example is serial number 106449 and was manufactured in 1914, over 100 years ago! The Savage Model 1907 was a well built pistol with a beautiful high gloss blue finish and very attractive and artistic design. It was considered futuristic looking at the time when revolvers were much more commonplace. The Model 1907 earned a reputation for excellent reliability and good accuracy and sold quite well for Savage. It was this model that Savage scaled up in size and chambered in .45 ACP to create the Model 1907 Test Trial pistol for the U.S. Army test trials; eventually losing out to the Colt 1911 Model. This example has been used and carried but not abused. It has 80% plus of the original high gloss finish and a good bore with strong rifling. The checkered gutta-percha grips with the Savage Indian head logo look excellent and are free from cracks or repairs. They fit nice and tight to the grip frame. Everything works 100% like the day it left the Savage factory, and I would not hesitate to carry this pistol for self defense even today. This Savage Model 1907 would be an excellent addition to any gun collection, and has just enough wear on it to shoot it without hurting it's investment value if you take reasonable care of it.
