This is a reproduction of Old Betsy. Davy Crockett's 1835 .41 caliber rifle. This rifle is in excellent condition. 46" in length overall and sets on a wooden display that measures 52" X 15" X 2" deep. The rifle features ornate brass trim, a very nice walnut stock, a wooden ramrod, octagonal barrel, front and rear sights, percussion action, dual triggers and a spring loaded patch box compartment in the stock. This display replica appears to be of the correct dimensions and weight. Very well made and getting hard to find.The gunsmith on these is James Graham who is well respected and signed with a brass plate on the barrel. They have sold as high as $450 for one like this one. This non-firing replica would make a great addition to your collection for display or as a stage prop. There are no ATF restrictions on this one and I will ship for shipping/handling/insurance.
