Description:
This is an original, WW2 walnut combination holster/stock; crisply stamped on the wrist: “S.A.LTD./1945" (Small Arms Ltd). The wood is in excellent condition and has numerous minor handling marks and small blemishes scattered about the original military oil finish while the metal retains nearly all of the original matte finish with some silvering and wear visible on the attachment iron. The lid shuts smartly and latches firmly and an original “C (Broad Arrow)" marked canvas hanger with “ZL&T Ltd" maker's mark (Zephyr Loom & Textile Ltd of Toronto) is attached.
