BARRELS: DESIRABLE 28" LENGTH, CHOKED IMPROVED CYLINDER AND MODIFIED, raised hand filed tapered rib, EXCELLENT BRIGHT BORES EXHIBITING NO PITTING, clear sharp markings, original blue exhibiting scattered light tarnish in various areas with an area of light to moderate pitting on outside of right barrel forward of breach,
STOCK: pistol grip buttstock retains original finish with virtually no handling marks, perfect sharp checkering exhibiting no wear, forearm also retains original finish again with no handling marks and excellent sharp checkering, LOP 14 1/4" over factory composite buttplate, DAC 1 1/2", DAH 2 1/2",
THIS GUN CLOSES LIKE THE PROVERBIAL FIRST NATIONAL BANK SAFE, IT IS AN ATTIC FIND THAT HAS BEEN USED VERY LITTLE OVER THE YEARS AS EVIDENCED BY THE CONDITION OF THE BORES AND THE LIGHT WEAR MARKS ON THE STANDING BREACH, BUTTSTOCK. AND FOREARM,
