Description:
This is a Winchester Model 95 Saddle Ring Carbine in .30 Army (.30-40 Krag). The serial number dates to 1903. The metal has been reblued without excessive polishing. There are still traces of pitting visible under the refinish. The saddle ring has been removed and is not present. The bore is pitted but shiny with visible rifling. Sights are a Redfield receiver sight and a blade front sight. The hole for the original rear sight mount has been filled. The stock is a replacement with a Mershon White Line ventilated recoil pad.
