Winchester pre 64 model 70 standard rifle in 300 H&H in original condition.Built in 1954,this rifle has a 26" barrel with a mint bore.It is in excellent original condition retaining 98% of the original blue and wood finish.The stock is sound with no cracks or damage.The rifle retains the original front sight hood.The rear sight was removed and a block inserted to accomodate a scope.Otherwise the rifle is all original with no extra holes or alterations.The stock is a non montecarlo straight comb with the original Winchester steel buttplate.This is a classic model 70 in a desireable caliber.A great all purpose big game rifle.C&R eligible.
