Beautiful and rare tribute guns made for lcareer Remington employee upon his retirement. Remington Custom Shop 11-48 Semi-Auto Shotguns. SN:4045495, 4045496. Ga: 28ga. Made for Fred Byrnes upon his retirement, having worked there from 1924 - 1972 as supervisor of production of the 11-48 line. Lustrous factory blue barrel and receiver. Hand selected fancy walnut stocks with Grade "A" hand-checkering. Beautifully custom engraved by Remington master engraver Robert Runge. Consecutive serial number guns with small gold letter initial behind trigger guard, one being "F" for Fred and the other "D" for his beloved wife "Duty".
Condition: Guns are in as-new condition.
