French Flintlock Fowler by Bourdiec. Lock and barrel are marked “Bourdiec A Paris”. Bore at the muzzle measures .620. Metal parts are “in the white” and the lock is engraved. Barrel length is 35” and overall length is 51”. This is a half stock Fowler with fine checkered forend and grip. Pistol grip finishes with a deeply carved “Bird of Prey” head. Action works perfectly. Bourdiec is listed in stock as working in Paris 17358-1750. Note: There is an old stock repair at the wrist that is very solid and hard to find. Solid repair.
