Description:
Parker Bros. 12ga GH grade built in 1922 on a #2 frame.This gun is in excellent original condition retaining at least 50% of the original case colors and 95% of the original wood finish.The gun has 30" barrels of fine damascus that are choked full (.038") and full (.038").The bore diameters are .730" in the right barrel and .732" in the left.The bores are bright and free of rust or pits.The minimum wall thickness in each barrel is .034".There are 2 small repaired dents about 6" from the muzzle.One in each barrel.(shown in photos)The wall thickness at each is over .034" so they will not affect the shooting of the gun.The barrels retain at least 90% of the damascus finish and lock up tightly to the action with no play.The stock retains the original dog's head buttplate with the widow's peak.The buttplate screws still have nitre blue on them.Excellent shooting dimensions of 141/4"x15/8"x25/8".This is a fine all original Parker that would make a great hunting gun with proper loads or a fine clays gun for vintage shoots.I have shot 11/8 oz trap loads in it and it smashes targets a long way off.C&R eligible.
