Description:
This is a LC Smith shotgun made in 1891 chambered for 2-¾” 12 gauge shotshells. The 32” Damascus barrels are in fair condition. They are developing a patina and have a few dents that are visible in the bore. The bores are smooth aside from the visible dents and some light pitting towards the breech. The action is engraved and developing a patina but is not corroded. The trigger guard, lever, and tang safety are in similar condition. The walnut forend and buttstock are in fair condition. There are scattered scratches and scrapes throughout, some of which disturb the finish. There is worn checkering at the wrist and forend. The buttstock is fitted with a grip cap and buttplate and the forend is fitted with a steel schnabel and brass inlay. Length of pull is 14-¼”, overall length is 49”, and weight is 8.4 lbs.
