Antique WWI Period 1910 -1918th.Dr. Walter Gerard Charlottenburg D.R.G G 4X magnification model.Scope # 37397 This scope was refurbished/maintained by Iron Sight Inc. with 1 Year Limited Warranty. Was: Rebuilt fixed power erector cell Replace reticle: German sniper #2-sharp picket post with cross hair Cleaned all lenses,resealed and purged with nitrogen Checked elavation adjustment on collimator. Set parallax at 100 yards. One year limited warranty start from today 09/13/2017(day that I received from service) Dr. Walter Gerard produced rifle scopes in Germany prior to World War I for use on sporting rifles.With the onset of the war, Gerard scopes, along with many other previously manufactured sporting rifle scopes, were adopted by the German Army for use on their Scharfschutzen-Gewehr 98 and K98 Sniping Rifles. All Gerard scopes are scarce in the USA. Original factory bluing.
