Description:
This is a Winchester Model 1892 rebarreled with a Model 94 barrel chambered for 44-40. The 20” barrel has had it’s finish removed but is not scratched or corroded. The bore has clean sharp rifling. The front sight is a fixed post and the rear sight is adjustable for elevation. The magazine tube is in similar unfinished condition. The receiver has also had it’s finish removed and is in good condition. There are no scratches or corrosion and all the screws are in good working condition. The hammer and lever still have some blueing on them and are also undamaged. The walnut forend and buttstock are in good condition. The forend is undamaged while the buttstock has a repaired 4” crack on the right side originating at the tang. Several holes have also been filled in the buttsock and it is fitted with a blued buttplate. Length of pull is 13”, overall length is 38”, and weight is 5.6 lbs. Our stock number is #A540.
