*** SOLD ^^^ This beautiful little smallbore Francotte is quite a treat to behold. Highly figured European walnut stock and extensive floral engraving over tight scroll on the sides and bottom of the frame as well as the trigger guard. The fences are beautifully carved in a bold acanthus pattern and the gun retains most of its original French grey coloring. This is a very nice gun and it is a wand on grouse, woodcock and quail. *** This Francotte, serial number 804xx, was made circa 1920 and has double triggers and auto ejectors. It has side clips and a hidden crossbolt third fastener. Gun weight is 5lb 9oz. *** The 26” 20 gauge barrels are chambered for 2-3/4” cartridges and are choked Skeet and Improved Cylinder. Perfect for game or clays. It has a raised solid hand crosshatched tapered rib *** The marblecake figured walnut stock has a swept back pistol grip and splinter forearm. The checkering is crisp and the finish is nice. Stock dimensions are 14-5/8” over a 1" rubber butt pad by 1-3/8” by 2-1/2”. Cast-off for the right handed shooter. The bluing on the barrels is in great shape but there are a few minor handling marks on the stock. Tight on face and in great mechanical condition. *** I am an FFL and will need a signed copy of your dealer’s FFL license. Not for sale where prohibited by state or local laws. Buyer is responsible for all shipping, insurance, and any other related charges. I give a 3-day non-firing inspection period and will only accept returns at buyer’s expense if the gun is not as described in the listing.
