C&R Spanish Made Top Break .38 Revolver S&W Copy
Fine Conditioned, Nickel Finish DA 5-Shot .38 Pistol
Here we present a Spanish Copy of a Smith & Wesson .38 Double Action Top Break Revolver, made circa 1900 in Spain. This revolver is a very nice size, being smaller and handier than a revolver of the size of a Colt Single Action Army, and much better suited to fight than tiny pocket revolvers, like the single action S&W No. 1. Its double action capability was also a big improvement for a self-defense tool over the aforementioned revolvers as single action gave rise to double as the 19th transitioned to the 20th Century.
The only marking on the outside of the gun is “MADE IN SPAIN”.
The overall condition is fine. The original nickel finish is nearly complete. The markings are clear and legible. The grips are in very good condition. The bore is rifled and clean. The action is excellent.
